The Brown family farmhouse at Luck of the Irish Farm

The Farm · Established 1947

A family story written on the land.

Clarence and Arlene Brown began this chapter in March 1947. Four generations later, the farm is still teaching us what is worth keeping.

Why This Place Matters

The farm is not a backdrop. It is the beginning of everything.

For decades, the white barn, farmhouse, outbuildings, and fields held the daily work of a Wisconsin farm. The hand-painted name on the barn is not branding created for a new business. It is part of the property’s real agricultural history.

Our purpose now is to keep the farm whole and useful. A grain-to-glass distillery gives agriculture a visible place in the guest experience—from what grows in the field to what is eventually poured in the glass.

We are the fourth generation caring for this ground. Our hope is that our son will become the fifth.

The Fourth Generation

Caring for what came before. Building what comes next.

Restoration is slow, practical work. We are learning the buildings, making careful decisions, and creating a future that feels earned rather than imposed.

The Continuing Story

March 1947

Clarence and Arlene Brown purchase the farm and begin the family’s life on this ground.

Four generations

Work, family, crops, livestock, and the changing seasons leave their mark without erasing what came before.

Restoration today

The fourth generation is repairing the farm thoughtfully and preparing it for a new agricultural purpose.

Fall 2027

The planned farm distillery opens a new chapter, with the hope that a fifth generation will one day carry it forward.
